About the game
A quiet word puzzle with a competitive streak.
Word Crumbs is a word puzzle set in a kingdom of floating sky castles. Each level gives you a handful of letters on a wheel and a crossword grid to fill. Swipe across the letters to make words, and watch them drop into place.
Levels never run out, so there is always one more to try on the bus or before bed. When you want a challenge, the Daily and Weekly boards give every player the same puzzle and rank you by the XP you earn. Keep a streak going, collect badges and work your way up through the tiers, from Scribe all the way to Mythweaver.
It plays offline, it is free, and if you sign in you can pick up your progress on another phone.

Rank is earned, never sold.
Leaderboards rank players by the XP they earn by playing, per day, per week and per season. Some purchases can give you an XP boost, but the boost is the same for everyone who has it, and no purchase ever puts you higher on a board on its own.
Scores that look impossible are reviewed and removed. Players under 13 are never listed on public leaderboards. They can still play every board and see their own results.

FAQ
Good questions.
Is Word Crumbs free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play. You can optionally buy coins, hints, a Premium subscription or Remove Ads. None of them are needed to finish levels.
Can I buy a higher rank?
No. Leaderboards rank players by the XP they earn by playing. Some purchases can boost how much XP you earn, but rank itself is never for sale, and the boost works the same way for everyone who has it.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Regular levels work without a connection. Daily and Weekly boards and leaderboards need to go online to submit your score.
How do I move my progress to a new phone?
On your old phone, go to Profile → Account and sign in with Google (Android) or Apple (iOS). Then sign in with the same account on your new phone and your save will load.
What ads are in the game?
You can choose to watch a short ad for a free hint. There are also ads between some levels. Players under 18, or whose age we don't know, only see non-personalised ads. Remove Ads takes away the between-level ads.
Is it suitable for kids?
Word Crumbs is made for a mixed audience aged 6 and up. Younger players get extra protections: no personalised ads, no public leaderboard listing and no typed names. Our page for parents explains the details.
